STORY OF A JACKET.
DECONSTRUCTED INTO FOUR PIECES
LOOK 1: Using the front and back panels, I created a shirt-blazer by incorporating an inbuilt shirt while highlighting the raw essence of the original blazer.
LOOK 2: The painted side panels were transformed into an oversized shirt, with additional volume added using white cotton fabric at the back. To make the most of the painted design, panel slits were strategically incorporated, seamlessly integrating the artwork. The remaining fabric dictated the sleeve patterns, giving the piece a distinctive and artistic character.
FINAL ON THE CLIENT

Look 3 & 4: These designs are still in progress. I plan to creatively repurpose the sleeves from the original blazer to complete these upcoming looks. Stay tuned!

For a last-minute GQ Awards styling project, I collaborated with my artist friend Marcelo Pedrozo to create a bespoke painted blazer in just five days. Designed for a private client with unique sizing needs, the jacket became a statement piece for the event.
After the awards, I deconstructed the blazer, repurposing its hand-painted elements into four distinct garments. This transformation was guided by a zero-waste philosophy, ensuring every piece of the original design found new life sustainably and creatively.
This project reflects my commitment to innovation, artistry, and sustainability in fashion.
