SHIRT PROJECT:
DECONSTRUCTION &
CONSTRUCTION
THEME-'MACRO-MICRO'

The journey began with the concept of Macro-Micro, inspired by opposites, leading me to explore extreme body shapes like obesity and anorexia. Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons influences my work, particularly her innovative approach, blending unconventional aesthetics with Victorian-era elements.

My embroideries draw inspiration from my mother's garden, reflecting a personal connection to nature. For my shirt project, I deconstructed two men's shirts and incorporated fabrics like organza, ribbed fabric, and cotton. I reassembled the pieces in unconventional ways, enhancing the design with a unique and dynamic look. Through my work, I aim to showcase the interplay of beauty and imperfection.
