PROFILE

I've spent over a decade immersed in the world of fashion—as a designer, educator, mentor, and creative consultant. What continues to excite me most is the opportunity to connect creativity with craftsmanship, education with industry, and ideas with meaningful impact.

My journey began at the London College of Fashion, where I studied Fashion Design Technology with a specialization in Pattern Cutting. I then moved to Rome to study Haute Couture Pattern Making at Accademia Koefia before completing my Honours Degree in Fashion/Apparel Design at Marbella Design Academy in Spain. More recently, I completed a Master's in Management and Marketing of Fashion and Luxury from MIA Digital University, Spain, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Fashion Technology.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with luxury brands and fashion houses including Whistles,, Alexander McQueen, Reem Juan, Ioannis Dimitrousis, Ion Tail, and DoDoDez. In India, I have collaborated with designers such as Sailex Ng and Nupur Kanoi, experiences that have allowed me to explore fashion through different cultural and creative lenses.

One of the highlights of my design career was creating a textile installation for Lakmé Fashion Week for designer Yana Ngoba. It was a project that brought together storytelling, textile experimentation, and craftsmanship in a way that felt deeply personal and rewarding.

Education has been at the heart of my professional journey. For eight years, I served as the Head of the Fashion Design Department at FAD International Academy, Mumbai, where I mentored aspiring designers, developed curricula, and helped students transform their creative ideas into industry-ready collections and portfolios.

I also worked as Director at MSR Academia for 8months, where I was involved in establishing the institution, developing its curriculum, and helping shape its academic vision from the ground up. Today, I continue to engage with education as a Visiting Faculty member at SP Jain School of Global Management, where I teach Design Thinking within the Master in Global Luxury Goods and Services Management (MGLuxM) program.

Alongside academia, I remain actively involved in the industry. I currently serve as Creative Director at Valkyre and as Fashion Consultant for Manipur Fashion Weekend. These roles allow me to stay connected to the evolving landscape of fashion while bringing current industry insights into the classroom and my consulting work.

Whether I'm teaching, consulting, mentoring, or designing, my goal remains the same: to inspire creative thinking, encourage innovation, and help individuals develop the confidence and skills to build meaningful careers in fashion.
